
Dr. Bernard Oduoku Bainson is a lecturer at the Mathematics Department of Kwame Nkrumah
University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. He joined AIMS Ghana at the beginning of the 2020/2021 academic year as the Academic Manager. Dr. Bainson completed his Bachelors in Mathematics and MSc in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Cape Coast and AIMS Ghana, respectively. He then proceeded into a PhD program in Algebra at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh. Thereafter he joined AIMS Rwanda as a tutor and subsequently was a course instructor. He later joined KNUST and has since served in the capacity of a course instructor at AIMS Ghana. His research activities primarily involve using discrete and combinatorial techniques to investigate algebraic objects such as semigroups, groups, and ordered groupoids as well as investigating possible connections with other areas in mathematics.
