Winnie Nakiyingi is a Statistician by profession with a bachelor’s degree from Makerere University in Uganda, a master’s from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, and a research-based master’s in Statistics from the University of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. She has worked with AIMS since 2015 and is currently working with the Masters in Mathematical Sciences for Teachers (MMST) program. Outside academia, Winnie has experience in business development and holds a strong passion for African Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
