Andrews Kwasi Boahen

AIMS Ghana (Ghanaian)

MPhil Student

Andrews Kwasi Boahen is a recent AIMS Ghana alumnus, and completed as the overall best student of his class, attaining distinction which afforded him the F.K.A Allotey meritorious award. Prior to AIMS, Andrews graduated from the University of Ghana, with a BSc. in Actuarial Science with a first-class honors. There he proceeded to become a research and teaching assistant as well as a data science and probability theory enthusiast.

Aside his academic laurels, Andrews is passionate about community give-back and social impact activities, a quality which was evident during his time at AIMS. He also has a keen interest in encouraging and motivating others; especially his peers, to strive for excellence.

Currently, he is studying for an MPhil at the University of Ghana, in partnership with AIMS Ghana under the supervision of Prof. Kwabena Doku Amponsah.

Andrews is particularly interested in Probability Theory, Stochastic Analysis, Stochastic Geometry and Algebraic Statistics.
