Fred Soglohu

Quantum groups in Topological Quantum Computing

Fred is a tutor for the Taught Masters program at AIMS Ghana. He obtained his BSc at the University of Ghana and his MSc training at AIMS Ghana, where he also received Professor Allotey’s Meritorious Award. He is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Ghana, Legon.

Fred’s research areas are mathematical and theoretical physics with a focus on the use of quantum groups in topological quantum computing.

He was once a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Ghana. He also worked as a resident mathematician and senior technologist at an Accra-based IT firm where he was the lead engineer on most of the company’s projects from August 2016 to December 2018.
