Rhoda Mahamah, Scientific Administration Manager
A self-motivated development professional with more than ten years of experience working in education, administration, youth and women empowerment, gender and knowledgeable in reporting, and capacity development. Technical skills include project management and event planning. Rhoda has traveled widely and worked in a variety of settings. She is driven to producing high quality work, has a third eye for development oriented areas, with great communication and negotiation skills, and places high importance on ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
At AIMS, Rhoda provides administration support for all scientific events including research and visitor programs. She ensures that accommodation and other logistics are provided for visitors; supports Research Chairs with organizing events, resource mobilization, student recruitment, and in reporting.
Prior to AIMS, Rhoda worked at YES Ghana as Project Manager, MicroFinance Transparency as Research Analyst, Africa and managed Ghana and Rwanda Country Initiatives. She has worked also with Right to Play Ghana, and continues to provide support GADeF, a youth development organization as a Consulting Director. Rhoda is a Lecturer (Part-time) at the University of Education, Winneba.
