The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) Centre of Excellence in Ghana kindly requests your best firm offer for a dedicated symmetric internet connection to its new campus at Spintex in Accra, Ghana. The service is expected to be highly stable and reliable, with overall uptime not lower than 99%. AIMS Ghana intends to establish a rolling 1-year contract with the successful bidder.

Technical Requirements

1. The service provider will provide one STM-1 (155 Mbps) connection to AIMS Ghana’s campus.
2. The provided bandwidth must be dedicated, unshared and symmetric (i.e. uplink bandwidth equals downlink bandwidth).
3. The connection will be uncompressed, full-duplex and provided over a fibre-optic ground or aerial connection.
4. Latency between AIMS Ghana’s campus and the service provider’s network shall not be more than 10 milliseconds.
