AIMS will be organising the 3rd Edition of the Climate Science Speaker Series on Thursday, 19th May 2022 at 10:00 am as part of the activities marking the African Science Week in collaboration with the NEF Ambassador to Ghana, Mrs. Justina Onumah.
Aiming to promote a gender lens in climate science research as well as increase women’s participation in climate science, especially looking to gain the interest of the youth, this year’s CSSS is themed, “The contribution of local scientists in climate change research and development: What can the youth learn?”
Speakers include: Dr. Portia Adade Williams, Research Scientist, CSIR-STEPRI, Dr. Robert (Bob) Manteaw, Senior Research Fellow, Center for Climate Change and Sustainability Studies, University of Ghana and Dr. Charity Osei Amponsah, International Water Management Institute,
The event will be hosted at the ISSER Auditorium, University of Ghana.
