The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) Ghana invites applications for the Probability, Analysis, and Applications (PAA) workshop scheduled from 29 September to 4 October, 2019 at AIMS Ghana campus, Accra.
The workshop is organized within the framework of the German Research Chair program in AIMS Ghana, under the Alexander von Humboldt and the German Ministry of Education and Research and the DAAD Foundation. PAA workshop will bring together renowned International and National scientific researchers, young researchers and graduate students working on Probability Theory, Stochastic Analysis, Statistics, Functional Analysis, Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, (forward-backward), Stochastic (Partial) Differential Equations, Rough Differential Equations and Rough Paths, McKean-Vlasov Equations, etc.
This workshop will provide a platform for increasing the cooperation between students and researchers on the one hand and various institutions and research centers on the other hand.
Application and Requirements
Thanks to the sponsorship of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the German Minister of Education and Research, DAAD, and AIMS Ghana, there are no registration fees for all research students and academics.
There will be a participation fee of Ghc450.00 for all applicants who fall out of this category. The participanting fee will cover meals and workshop materials. This excludes hotel accommodations and travel expenses. Payment should be made immediately upon arrival.
