Fameno holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Education from Ecole Normale Superieure, Madagascar. In 2019, she joined AIMS South Africa and graduated with an MSc in Mathematical Sciences as a Stellenbosch University (SU) student. In 2021, she started her research in MSc in Combinatorics at SU and she is currently pursuing a PhD in BioPhysics at AIMS Ghana.

Giving back to the community has been a core value for her as an international student. From 2019 to 2023, she has always volunteered to tutor in high schools around Western Cape, SA through Ykmva Youth and Tomorrow trust.

She is an aspiring academic who will intends to equip university students with the necessary skills to be successful.
