AIMS Ghana Holds Two-Day Orientation for 2020/2021 Structured Master’s Students

The management of AIMS Ghana organized a two-day orientation program for the 2020/2021 cohort of the Taught Master student on the 12th and 13th October 2020 at the AIMS Ghana campus. The orientation introduced students to the AIMS academic life, acclimatize students to the AIMS environment, and provided an opportunity for students to meet the staff.

In his presentation, the Centre President of AIMS Ghana, Dr. Prince Koree Osei highlighted the various programs at AIMS and introduced two new programs (the Girls in Mathematical Sciences and the Masters in Mathematical Sciences for Teachers) that are being implemented and would be launched in November 2020.

The Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Adelaide Asante, encouraged students to adhere to the code of conduct of AIMS as well as the COVID-19 protocols at AIMS Ghana, in order to have a productive academic year.
The Academic Team led by the Academic Director, Professor F.T. Oduro, gave detailed presentations on the Taught Master’s Program and the core Research activities at AIMS
Ghana. Questions from students on the Taught Master’s Program were addressed by the members of the Academic Team.
