Mathematics with Fun

The Regular Master of Mathematical Sciences Students visited the Legon Botanical Gardens and Ghana Tech Lab on 31st March 2021 and 1st April 2021, respectively. This was to use the reading week of the academic calendar to enable students to refresh their minds after a long period of consecutive lectures.

The visit to the Legon Botanical Gardens enabled the students to take mini-hikes in the woodland areas of the gardens. They also carried out some keep fit activities, which included going through an adventure high-rope course. A major benefit of this was to help with team building and to boost the body activity of students. This was aside other relaxing games they engaged in at the garden like strolling through a treetop canopy walkway and canoe riding.

At the Ghana Tech Lab, the students were taken through industry activities and operations. Here they toured the various labs including the robotics, software, drone, communication, 3D printing and workspace labs.
