Edward Korveh

Postdoctoral Fellow

Edward Korveh is originally from Ghana. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (2012). After he got his Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences from AIMS Ghana in 2014, Edward obtained a double degree in Complex Systems Science from the University of Warwick (UK) and the Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden).

He worked as a teaching assistant between 2012-2013 at the All Nations University College, as well as a tutor between 2016-2018 at AIMS Rwanda.

Edward is currently a Ph.D candidate at AIMS Ghana and his research interest is in Stochastic Optimal Control with Applications in Finance. He’s currently working on two topics: “Maximum principle for financial contagion” and “Risk-based valuation of financial derivatives under financial contagion.
