Ebimoboere Claudius is a STEM advocate whose research interests lie in the ‑elds of network and data science. Beyond studying mathematics, she is developing her skills as a writer and proofreader. In her free time, she enjoys sewing and practising yoga. She lives in Nigeria and is raising the daughter she birthed while studying at AIMS Ghana. What fascinated her about AIMS was when she learnt that the idea of AIMS was conceived by one man who dreamt of changing Africa through mathematical sciences. She knew she wanted to be a part of that dream and she worked hard to be enrolled at AIMS Ghana. “The AIMS experience for me was an opportunity of a lifetime that I get to appreciate even more with each passing day. At AIMS, I did not only acquired world-class education but I also interacted with inspiring people from dierent cultures and made lifelong friends in the process. I now go about life more con‑dently, knowing that I have a strong network of people who support and inspire me”. Ebimoboere Claudius aspires to become an applied mathematician in industry, where her skills would contribute to solving practical problems on the African continent. She hopes to inspire young African women to dream and reach for their highest potentials, irrespective of their background or societal constrains.
