Perpetual Saah Andam


Class of 2013

Perpetual Saah Andam graduated from University for Development Studies, Ghana, in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Financial Mathematics. She continued to AIMS Ghana as one of the pioneer students for the 2012/2013 academic year. Through the support of AIMS, she was awarded a bursary for her Research Master’s and PhD at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. “My experience at AIMS made me more con‑dent. It gave me the zeal to be determined to achieve my goals and choose to overlook my obstacles. At AIMS, the innovative 24-hour learning environment made me strive for excellence. Unlike any other academic institution I had known, learning was not subject to time perimeters. I had access to the best national and international lecturers and tutors whenever I needed. AIMS gave me the exposure I needed for my academic career and also helped me believe that I can do anything if I am determined and focused”. Perpetual is a Lecturer at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, University of Ghana with her research focus on Stochastic Processes. She is an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate person with good relationship building and communication skills. She works happily with students and colleagues to promote a perfect atmosphere of knowledge sharing and learning new ideas.
