Ama Serwah Nerquaye-Tetteh is currently the Secretary-General of the Ghana National Commission for UNESCO, a multi-sectoral government agency that works with the ministries of Education, Culture and Tourism, Youth and Sports, Environment, Science and Technology, and Innovation, Communication and other governmental and non-governmental agencies to foster UNESCO’s ideals in-country and as a member state.She is an educationist and policy analyst by profession and a holder of postgraduate degrees in Educational Leadership and Management, International Communications and Education from the Universities of Ghana, Leeds and Bedfordshire respectively,  as well as an honors degree in English and French from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
