Ms Marry Thekhwe is currently a research Master’s student at AIMS South Africa, affiliated with the University of Cape Town, with interests spanning mathematics, physics, data science, computational fluid dynamics, and quantum computing. Her current research focuses on applying modelling, simulation, and computational methods to address complex problems in the physical and biological sciences. She holds an MSc in Mathematical Sciences from AIMS South Africa, BSc Honours in Physics and a BSc in Mathematics and Physics from the university of Venda, South Africa. In 2022, she was a research fellow at Nelson Mandela University, and in 2024, she worked as a data analyst and product developer at Verdure Climate Limited. She has participated in several science communication workshops and recently took part in the AIMS Ghana Quantathon.
